Upgrade & Restore Your Tire Changer's Pneumatic Air Flow

The 8102048 High-Pressure Rubber Hose (15") is a direct-replacement pneumatic hose designed to deliver un-throttled compressed air to the clamping cylinders and bead breakers of professional tire changers. It is extruded from a premium, braid-reinforced Nitrile synthetic rubber compound, built to withstand the rigorous, constant pressure surges of busy commercial service bays.

Regular maintenance and timely replacement of hardened, chaffed, or cracked pneumatic hoses prevent sudden leaks and keep your clamping system operating at maximum force.

Machine Location:

This 15" hose is routed inside the Main Base Cabinet of the tire changer, connecting the foot pedal control valves to either the tabletop rotary coupling (spider union) or the bead breaker cylinder ports.

Key Features & Specifications

  • Nitrile Synthetic Rubber: Formulated from high-durability synthetic Nitrile rubber to resist oil, grease, ozone, and chemical exposure commonly found on garage floors.
  • Braid Reinforced Core: High-tensile fiber reinforcement enables the hose to handle constant working pressures up to 175 PSI.
  • Size Dimensions: 1/4" Inside Diameter (I.D.) with a pre-cut length of 15" for compact, low-profile routing.

🔧 Pro Installer Tip:

When cutting this hose to custom lengths, **always use a sharp hose cutter or razor blade to make a perfectly square cut**. A jagged or angled cut will prevent the hose from seating fully on the barb, leading to high-pressure leaks or blow-off. Route the hose away from sharp sheet-metal edges inside the cabinet to prevent chaffing.
