The Proguard Positioning Pin Extension / Anti Rotation Pin, Medium is a high-tensile structural fastener designed to clamp and secure cylinder plates, tower bases, and mechanical brackets on professional tire changers.

Worn, stretched, or cross-threaded bolts cannot hold the proper clamping force, which leads to mechanical shift and misalignment. Replacing them restores rigid mechanical alignment.

There are currently three different positioning pin extensions for the ProGuard. The standard equipment long silver pin shipped with the machine, 0.450” in shaft diameter, is P/N 83031335. The optional medium length silver pin is P/N 83032133. The optional long black pin, 0.550” in shaft diameter, is P/N 85607767. The long black pin is stronger than the long silver pin and is less prone to damage during use. (There may be a few wheels with stud-holes too small to fit the black pin.)
