The Coats 85612673 is a genuine OEM incremental rotary encoder, based on the CUI AMT102-V modular kit encoder, used to provide precise rotational position and speed feedback on the Coats 1600 Direct Drive Wheel Balancer (Post 8/22 - 10/24 production). This capacitive-technology encoder mounts directly to the balancer's spindle motor shaft and communicates wheel rotation data to the balancer's control system, enabling accurate imbalance detection and measurement. Featuring a dipswitch-configurable resolution of up to 2048 PPR, a durable metal housing, and 5 VDC push-pull (totem) output, this encoder is a direct OEM replacement for restoring accurate wheel position feedback and balancing performance on compatible Coats 1600 wheel balancers.
