The Banner UM-FA-11A is a genuine OEM Universal Input Safety Relay Module designed to monitor a wide variety of safety and non-safety input devices, including safety light curtains, safety laser scanners, positive-opening safety switches for guard interlocking, and emergency-stop devices such as palm buttons and rope/cable pulls. Operating on 24V ac/dc supply voltage, this self-checking safety relay accepts single or dual-channel inputs from solid-state (PNP) or dry-contact devices and provides two normally open (N.O.) safety output channels rated 7A plus one normally closed (N.C.) auxiliary output for connection to control-reliable power interrupt circuits.
