Please refer to bulletin for background on this issue if necessary. On all rim clamp units that use a handle mounted, four-way, two direction, lever control valve to operate the bead loosener… The correct part number for the new design and NOW HARDER MATERIAL pivot pin… is 85607837. (Use this number regardless of what the old parts lists show.) Use of this part number will prevent premature wear of the bead loosener pin, cylinder components, and arm components. Note that part number 85607420, from bulletin , will supersede to the above new number. Note that part number 8182550, used on foot pedal controlled units and shown in some parts lists, should not be used in place of the above pin.
