A MMCO In some cases, APX bead loosener pads may start to move out of their holders with severe use. Out of position pads could result in wheel damage when loosening beads. Removable stops may be installed to prevent this movement. Parts Kit: 1 – p/n 8K123456 Stop Kit Contains: 3 – p/n 8181929, bolt, 3/8” X 16 X 1, UNC 2A, grade 8 3 – p/n 8301033, nut, 3/8” X 16, UNC 2A, ¼” thick Only bolt head should serve as BL pad stop. Jam nut is used to hold correct bolt height Required Tools: 1 – 5/16” (.313) drill bit 1 – 3/8”-16 UNC tap 1) Fully seat the bead loosening pads in their brackets. 2) Drill a 5/16” hole, 9/32” from the edge and at about the middle of each fully seated pad.
