🔧 Pro Installer Tip:

When threading this brass street elbow into the aluminum body of your foot pedal valve (such as 4-way valve #8184878 or #8184369), never over-torque the fitting! Brass is a softer metal, and over-tightening can easily strip the threads or crack the valve body ports. Apply a thin, even coat of liquid thread sealant (or 2-3 wraps of Teflon tape) and thread it in until hand-tight, then snug it down 1 to 1.5 additional turns with a wrench to align the 90-degree outlet in the desired direction.
